Why is it that Verizon only offer a Senior plan discount to Florida residents and not the other 49 states? Senior citizens are everywhere Verizon do

Am I the only senior citizen living in another state having an issue  with Verizon offering only Florida senior citzens with a discounted phone plan?

I have had the senior citizen discount for over 2.5 years on my new I phone.

I recently transferred my service to just my daughter and I due to divorce.

I was told I would get the discount by CS rep ( I wrote down her name) and she promised but it was never reflected on the bill.

She saw I had been receiving it so she said it will be a discount of $40 (eventually found out THAT was a lie by 2nd representative)

THen with the 3rd rep again we'll need to approve your senior staus BUT THE GIRL approved it right away!!

All I'm getting is the run arround, diverting to "you'll have to wait for approval" or "it will show on your next bill"

UGH! 

Then someone suggested I use "chat" because they WILL resolve your issue ---BWAHAHAHA! 

NOPE!! She didn't know what 55 Royaly Plus senior discount even was. UGH!!😫 

I've spoken with way toooo many reps over the last 2.5 years that are NEVER congruent, different promises, stories from each of them!!. 

And they all overuse..."I'm Sorry !"  -- "I can fix that for you no problem!"

But to answer your question yes but good luck getting it!! Or getting a Representative who knows what they're talking about!

No, but then again, only one particular competitor offers a 55+ discount no matter where you live.  I went for it hoping it would be great, but it was like getting "Old and Slow Service" in exchange for the price break.  😒  It's like anything else; you get what you pay for?
