pay off phone promo

I placed an ordered on the myverizon app. the terms were that you would pay up to $800 via prepaid mastercard to pay off my phones from another carrier, bring them to verizon, and then trade them in for a new iphone 16.  The terms say to upload a bill showing the phones balances on my verizon within 60 days of order or no later than 4/20/25. there's nowhere I can find to upload this and no one at support number knows what to do. this is crazy. so easy to order the phone, take my money and trade in my phones but getting you to actually give me a rebate is not possible.

Has anyone tried logging into My Verizon on a computer and seeing if there's an upload section in your account under the orders history, or if there's something about promotions in there somewhere with the upload feature?

I need someone to contact me as well.  They are giving me the run around. I didn't everything at the store and was assured I didn't need to do anything else.

Every time I talk to a chat agent, I get a different answer.  I am bringing in 3 lines which have about $400 due to my current carrier which totals about $1200.  Some agents told me it's up to $800 per account.  While others told me it is per line.  The website states that as well.  Which is correct?

I'm curious about that too.  Fine print says "One offer per port-in; max 12 port-ins." So, if someone is porting in 12 lines on one account, does that mean they only get one offer for the one account, or can they apply the promo to each line?  If it is per account, then verbiage needs to be changed.

I too am having a ridiculous experience with this “promotion”. I was told that my form was rejected due to illegibility. It isn’t difficult to comprehend the submitted invoice- just seems like an attempt to deny payment. I’m quite disappointed and am considering returning to my previous carrier

It’s funny how all of you representatives say the same things. Looks like you’re given a script to satisfy the customer at that moment and then it ends up being all lies

Hi, I have been in contact with Verizon since I have started my account in April regarding this $800 switch carrier promo. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of service that I have received to make sure I have been given this promo. I have reached out to Verizon multiple times about this and no one has given me a clear answer. The last employee even told me to reach out to the FCC to file a complaint about this.  Can someone actually help?

This wasn't the exact promo, there was no trade in offer I needed

Same here!!! It was nothing but a lie! I should’ve just stayed with AT&T!! I’ve been calling since 4/29. I’ve talked to 21-23 people total since then and nobody takes care of it. They all lie and say they will call me back or I get disconnected or they say it’s taken care of and I still don’t receive the prepaid card. Then you have to call back and explain the whole situation and end up with the same results! Seeing how many ppl thru have done this too, legal action may be needed….

Verizon representatives are nothing but liars!! I have talked to 21 ppl and they ALL say “I will take care of this for you right now, no worries.” Its a lie! ! I switched on 4/29 and have called and called and called! I turned in all my paperwork to the store who are the ones who initially messed things up the day after switching! There’s no record of that promotion on my account!  This has been nothing but a headache! I have a $588 AT&T bill that I need to pay!! They don’t care! They won’t make it right! They are nothing but liars! I can’t even find a phone number that goes above their customer service line! I’m absolutely fed up!!

I am having the same issue. Verizon paid off one line that we moved over but not the other. I have been trying since JANUARY to resolve this issue. Have spoken to 15 people at least including 3 in store that could get nothing resolved. I have sent pictures of our bill that is about to be turned over to collections. I keep getting my rebate denied because the bill is "illegible" yet when I open the picture I can see it just fine and so can the in store people. After 21 years I am thinking about moving to another carrier.

So I have also been having the same trouble.  I signed up back in Jan/Feb.  I moved over 5 lines. With the promotion to pay off my phones. It’s about 3500 dollars. I was with att for 25 years and quite happy but wanted to bundle our home internet with Fios, so fell for this deal. I reached out on 3/17, via chat.  4/29, one other time,  6/16ish, 6/24, 6/30.  I need to pay ATT because I don’t want to mess up my credit. I have late fees now too. I finally got an awesome rep, she could see everything others said they couldn’t.  I spent 3 hours on the phone yesterday. She called back as promised today and unfortunately  I need to wait another 4-6 weeks!!!!  I want to pay ATT and would have preferred a check sent to me immediately due to the delay…which one reassured me  that  they would be sending. But here I am 2 weeks later after I was told that and have to wait another 4-6 weeks for this magical debit card…I only came to this forum because I wanted to see if I could use the debit card for other things and pay off my ATT bill now on a credit card. One rep told me I could…but again I am not trusting anyone.  now I read through these messages and I am once again not so confident I got this resolved. I, am having massive regrets but I’m stuck. They weren’t ready to roll this outs. Mechanisms weren’t in place. The reps didn’t know what to ask and I was basically lied to and now at risk of getting my credit ruined (which is excellent)…and accumulating late fees, etc.  beyond angry. This forum made me feel better that I’m not alone and I will keep pressure. At no time would I have ever taken the jump if I wasn’t told by a rep that I could get up to 5 lines, max 800 dollars per line. On some I owed more than 800 but I was ok taking the hit for the benefits which were worth it.
