Verizon rebates are a joke. I have been on multiple calls with them and each time I've been promised that the issue would be escalated. Still waiting for the rebates. I was promised a $100 switcher rebate that apparently they have no record of but have been told by the person (2 calls ago) that they would issue it to me anyway, but I have not received it yet.

Additionally I have an email from them with a receipt for my original order that states that I will receive an Early Term Fee up to $650 to pay off my phone from ATT when I switched to Verizon. Same thing, multiple calls to support - each time telling me that I would receive a gift card in the mail with the $633 needed to pay off my phone (after uploading them a copy of my ATT bill showing a balance of $633 still due on the phone). Still waiting for that gift card. This is ridiculous. So fed up with them. Each person I talk to is nice enough, but it never seems to get resolved.

I have had the same issue . I turned and had my phones and rebate verified at my local store in December. Multiple calls no one could find anything . Called customer service asked them to speak to my local store and they never did . Asked to speak with supervisor and after an hour I asked for a callback never happened.

i called local store again and asked for another option and they apologized and had no answer

I have been dealing with the same problem for over 3 months now. I have had the matter escalated several times for all the good that is done. I have now filed the report with the FTC and would strongly suggest that anybody else having the same issue do the same so that Verizon's bad business practices can be brought to light. I was informed by a couple of different Verizon support agents that this is a known problem that their system has basically denied almost everybody that submitted the rebate form. I've been told they're working to fix it however I highly doubt that is the case if it is such a known problem it should have been fixed by now. This is obviously a ploy used by Verizon to get people to switch and have them locked in with phone payment plans.

Just wanted to amend that to having contacted both the FTC and the FCC as I would advise anyone and everyone experiencing these issues with Verizon to do the same.

I have the same problem. with Verizon I was promised a $720 gift card when I switched from US cellular on 10/18/2024. I was told it would take two billing cycles to kick in. So in early 2/25 I waited 1 hour on a telephone call to have a specialist tell me he would submit it and call me back in 7 days Never called. Then I called the Verizon rep who sold me the phone and he never called back. Waited a week and on 2/28/25 went to the Verizon store where I bought the phone. Waited a half an hour or so I could get the rep who sold me the phone/wi fi package The waited another hour as he talked to some one in corporate and was told I would have my rebate/gift card by3/11. Logged in to my Verizon account yesterday on 3/22 as was told my submission was denied. Looks like Verizon is going to was Verizon iste some more hours of my life trying to get my gift card. What a JOKE Verizon is.

I also have been waiting for a $900 rebate from Verizon when I had phones to payoff when moving from ATT. I have talked with three agents, 2 on the phone and 1 in live chat. The paperwork is always filled out and I am told I should be receiving the email within a week with my phone rebate. I never receive the email. I also have asked how to contact a manager and no one ever helps me with that either. So disappointed in Verizon and my loss of $900. I would never have switched from ATT. Maybe this is something the Better Business Bureau could help with? I have spent hours talking to agents regarding this issue and no one helps me even though they tell me they have. What is the deal with Verizon?????

We were promised a rebate of $884.64 and I have battled in the phone since December once a month sometimes up to 4 times a month and get no where. We were told transfer to Verizon pay of balance on phones and that our bill for be $305 and we are paying way more that that even though we signed in the store for all of that. I’m not stopping till we get what was promised and will be switching back to AT&T.
