I think I found a bug with the update. In sounds if you set it to always vibrate then reboot the phone it will go back to only vibrate in silent mode.

I have 2.3.6 and it doesn't do that for me.

If you go to Menu>Settings>Sound  do you have Silent Mode checked?  Do you have a Ringtone selected?

After the update I found some of my settings had changed, so I would try going through them and making sure it's the way you had it before.

Silent mode is not checked. I have a ring tone selected. I want the phone to ring and vibrate for a call. Did not have this problem with 2.3.5.

If you set it to Vibrate Never and reboot, does it stay at Never?  Or is it only a problem with selecting Always?

Yes I changed it to never and rebooted and it stayed at never. Then I changed it to always rebooted the phone and it went back to only in silent mode.

I don't know why that would be.  Mine has a Incoming Call ringtone selected, and Vibrate set to Always. I can reboot and they stay the same.  Sorry I can't offer more insight.

Well I just found the problem Smart Action for home was set at 100% volume but I forgot to check vibrate. Now when I reboot it stays at always now.

Ahh, glad you found it and thanks for sharing.  Someone else probably has that too!
