4G issues after ICS

Received ICS a few days ago.  My internet today is non-existant.  Sites won't load.  Google searches seem to come up quickly.  For example, searches in Play Store have been timing out, I have full service and 4G appears to be working ok.  Anyone else having issues.  I'm in Northwest Pennsylvania, It's just odd that this happened after I got the ICS update.  I did a cache wipe, and I've restarted numerous times.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

If you are defaulting to wifi when getting data, you may not be logged in to the account.

I had to go in and set up my wifi home (secured) account. My visitor (not home secured) account requires me to log in every time I leave the internet.

Well there is the 'Motorola Restore Connectivity' app but not many folks seem to think it works. When mine was doing that pre ICS I'd put it in Airplane mode, then back out again. Might give that a go.
After 4 failed Razr's(4th was DOA)they sent me a brand new Razr MAXX so get on and stay on VZW support. Be firm, polite and insistent - it will take more than one call but they'll square you away.

Got through to VZW earlier.  Supposedly, they east coast through the midwest is down for 4G due to storms in SE causing issues in a good chunk of the network.  Did ICS upgrade on Sat and had no issues with 4G until late this morning - same as you describe (was having issues prior to ICS update with 4G cutting in and out in my home market only).

Thanks for the replies

-I'm not using wifi here at work, just my 4G

-I too read about the connectivity app and even tried it before because my wife's Droid 4 would be 4G all the time while my RAZR would bounce back to 3G.  I didn't notice much difference with it.

-ESCHWEIG - thanks for the info.  I just did a hard reset and things seem to be coming back and updating at a pretty good clip, the storm thing makes sense I guess, as long as it comes back, wow, it was painful earlier today.

Ok, web browsing is still a bit slow, hopefully the storms will cease and all will be right with the world.

Thanks

I've been having problems with 4G for quite some time now, both with GB and now with ICS. This has been happeing on both my Droid Razr Maxx and my LG Spectrum. Can't be due to storms since we are in almost draught conditions. Personally, I do not believe it is the OS of the phones. I don't believe it's due to bad apps. I do, however, truly believe it is due to faulty towers. I hope that Verizon is trying to correct this for their loyal customers.

Fully understand the issues. Just got my RAZR Maxx in late May and ran into 4G connectivity issues 2 weeks in while running GB. Interestingly, I traveled extensively for two weeks through several 4G areas (Cleveland, upstate NY, NYC Metro area, and Roanoke/Blacksburg VA) without any issues. As soon as I got back to Metro Detroit, issues. Spoke to a rep in San Diego with same home market only issues.

Only issues since ICS upgrade was today and rebooting (soft or hard) didn't help like before. Network came back up around 3pm and haven't had any other issues since. Going to monitor moving forward .
