So I bought a razr maxx for myself and my dad when they were buy one get one free. I activated mine and it works great but he hasn't touched his because he said that he doesn't want to pay $30 a month for data and just wants to stay with his regular cell. My brother has decided that he will take the Razr but he has his own separate plan. I know that on the old phones you would have to activate them on the line that ordered them before you could sell it or transfer it to another line. Do I need to activate the Razr on my dad's line before my brother can activate it on his?
