RRUSED,
Help is here! A software update is supposed to enhance the phone, not hinder. Let’s make sure we get your phone working like a well oiled machine once again. If you don’t mind, we will discuss the lost texts first & then move onto the freezing trouble. Can you please tell me more about the texts that have disappeared? What content in the Verizon Cloud do you have selected to back up?

Once the update finished my phone restarted and I let it sit for about 10 minutes to make sure everything was good period I went to send a text message and the entire thing was blank roughly 13000 text messages gone. Then I thought not a big deal I have the backup turned on logged in to do the backup it said the last backup was April 22nd with around 11000 text messages. I hit restore it took about 20 minutes nothing was restored. Then I logged out and logged back in and it said I had zero text messages backed up.
