I am hoping to get a Maxx when I am eligible for an upgrade in June. It looks like people are going to have to keep their phones way longer to keep unlimited data without a subsidized phone. Since the battery is not removable, how many years does it last? It will die eventually since batteries don't last forever. Then what? Thanks in advance for your information.

Not sure if anyone really knows the life of this thing, being only 6-8 months in market. I recharged my old Droid X for over 19 months and it ws still running great before I did the upgrade to the MAXX ...
There ARE replacement batteries available, $45. Pretty sure they'd provide instructions on how to replace it once we were to order one from them ..

The battery your link takes me to is for a battery only 820 mAh. Probably for the Razr. Maxx's battery is 3300 mAh if I have my specs straight.

hmm I think you're right ... It seemed to be the one they offer, but like you said, looks wrong. Maybe do an deeper search there ... in any case, not sure if I'm too concerned about it personally ... YMMV of course.
