Blue screen..

Does anyone else think the screen is way too blue when looking at anything with a white background?  Seems that anything light colored is blue, phone is only a few days old.  I am about to put the ax to my Maxx! please help.

It will have that look it's because of the Super Amoled screen that causes it..Here are some facts on the Screens..b33

You may want to have it checked to be sure but actually that seems to be a normal for Samsungs screens.

I have noticed it on ever device that uses those screens.

Yea i seen that Wildman my screen does that when in the Sun i thought i'd put this up as General Info it may be a slightly different tint in how it looks compared to the Samsungs but heck with my Old Eyes it kind of looks the same. Ha Ha! Lol  and this Old fart could use some new Specticles but whoo eee they Not cheep any more

I do not remember the one is store looking this blue.  I hate to sound picky but if this Maxx is gonna always be this blue then i can not keep it. On top of that, the supposed all day battery for even heavy users is B.S. I get to maybe 1pm with an off charger time of 5am.  Granted i stream about 4 hours of TuneIN radio and use GPS often but i thought that was the point of the Maxx.

I wouldn't worry about it too Much i had an Incredible that was the Same Way had Two Years took great pictures an the Screen was the same as the Maxx's. Give this a Try Download an app called KOI fish Pond from Kittenface it's a real Nice app and it will Bring your Screen alive Plus it give you something to do than just watching Like Feeding the Fish & swirling the Water areound an don't worry about over feeding the Koi they Hurt them..The paid Version adds other screens More fish Lillys an more flowers an Rain Drops so give it a look before you give up on it. Hey i got two of them Tells how much i like them..b33

  And having a Koi Fish Pond app is going to change the coloring of the screen how? And it will most certainly use more of the battery...

  Look, if you can, I would take it back to the store and compare it to the phone you looked at originally.. Lighting may play into it, but if you are in your 14 day window for return, they should take it back no questions asked...

Why don't you give it Try it. N.D.U. it's Free and as For the Battery it didn't affect it as your thinking it Will i had it on it long enough to Tell. And as for the Colors you have many Scenes to choose from if U buy the paid Version.  Plus it's good to have a Animation Screen on your phone once in a while anyway as it Helps refresh the Screen..

As for the Blue tint that Op is Seeing that's part of the Screen and there is Now way of getting Rid of it an if he would Box it an and return it for another New one it would be the same Way my Incredible had the same Look on it's Screen.  Now on my Droid X it did not but it was not Amoled either..
