My calendar events on my Razr Maxx won't sync to google calendar. In Settings>Accounts> my google account is set to sync all choice. What am I missing?? Ty
When you create events on the phone, check at the very top of the screen and verify that you are creating the event in the Google/Gmail calendar. If it is created in the phone calendar it won't sync with the Google Calendar.
Are you saying that events that you enter directly into your phone are not syncing with Google Calendar for you to see on your laptop or desktop? If that's the case, then I agree with Ann154's answer.
But if you mean that Google Calendar won't sync events that you may have entered on your laptop with your Razr Maxx, then go to the Maxx's Calendar menu, select Calendars, and you should see all of the Google Calendars you have listed under your Google account. If you touch a selected calendar, it will cycle through being synced & visible, synced & not visible, not synced & visible, and not synced & not visible. If none of the calendars are visible, then they won't show up in your Maxx's calendar.

I also originally had this problem. I also found out that you can edit an entry and change it to your Google calendar and it will sync. Just make sure it is for your gmail account and not your phone calendar. It also takes a minute or two to sync as well. But it does work
i can edit/add/remove in one calendar & it changes in the other calendar.
i was surprised to see that it actually works.
Mine states that it is my Google calendar but it still is not syncing. Any suggestions?

I have a Galaxy S3 and have this problem. I check that my appointments are in fact being inputted into my google calendar and NOT phone calendar. Every minute I am getting a pop-up that says "unnable to sync with google calendar" which slows down my phone. Events I put into my web/desktop calendar do show up in my phone but not vice-versa. Ah!! This was the solution for me. While it seems strange that the first calendar that comes up is the device calendar, I realize that without a Google account, this would be the only calendar available. Everything now sync's for me.

Ann154.... You are SUPER....been on phone with 6 VZW techs, 1 motorola tech and 1 google tech. All who had no idea how to resolve this issue. Motorola rep said to buy 3rd party app.
