Can i use my razr maxx as the camera/mic via HDMI for skype on my smart TV?

I'm wondering if I am able to use the hdmi port from my razr into my smart tv (wireless and has the skype app) and use the phones camera and microphone while skyping?  I don't want to buy the cord and then have it not work.  People have posted about it displaying pictures and vids but does anyone know if it will work with Skype?

Don't think it will. I believe the audio will be pushed to your TV, but your mice will be muted because of potential feedback.
