Can't answer phone calls microphone does not work
When you play music or use the speakerphone feature is there sound?
I can hear music and sounds but when I speak into phone the other person can't hear me. Same with the speakerphone.
I was checking to see if maybe the headphone jack was to blame, but even with lint in the mic, it would still pick up vibrations. Do you still have warranty on the unit?
I think so, it is only 5 months old.
Chat online through My Verizon-Contact Us-Live Chat, if you can or call them from another phone. They should send a replacement MAXX, that is, unless a fix is found during that time.

I'm having the same problem with my Droid Maxx. Callers can't hear me, and the phone doesn't register voice input. When I use a headset with its own mic, either wired or Bluetooth, everything works normally. I checked the phone's microphone and couldn't find any obvious obstruction, and I'm not using a case or screen protector.
