Contacts Missing

I updated my Moto Z Force before going to bed last night, and this morning all of my contacts are gone. They were set to back up on the cloud, but there are only 2 contacts there. In fact, even though my phone shows the cloud backed up yesterday, there is nothing on it. It's the a way to get my contacts back?

Updates are meant to improve your device KristaC678. I regret to learn all of your contacts were deleted after the update. I rely on my contacts daily so I know how important it is to ensure they are all on your device. After updating your phone, are you able to broswe the internet on you device ok? Have you logged onto your Verizon Cloud online to determine if all contacts were placed in the trash? To access your Verizon Cloud online click, http://vz.to/1EsFmQ0
