DROID RAZR MAXX...DEAD?

Anyone els had a problem with their phone being dead? I woke up this morning and my phone died..no power nothing even if u charge it. Don't know why or how it died.

I had this problem.  In fact, it was not dead.  It was in a coma.  Try pushing the power button and the lower volume button at the same time, for a couple seconds, then release.  See if it turns back on.  It is called a hard restart.

Was the battery low? If the charge drops too far it goes into protective mode.  Remember, with Li-ion batteries you don't need to condition them and they have no memory.  Smaller, frequent charges are actually better for the performance and life of the battery.

If you think the battery icon is not displaying the correct battery charge I would turn the phone off, charge to 100%, then discharge to 15% (no lower) and then turn it off and charge up to 100% again.  It should display the proper charge then. 

If it does do the shut down again, put it on the charger for 1-2 hours first, then do the power and volume down button - which forces a reboot.

Also, the stock battery icon is not very specific - it goes in 10% increments.  Battery Circle is a free app that will display in 1% increments in your notification bar.

Battery Circle is very Good: I use it on Both of my Droids  My X an My Maxx an when the Red indicator Led starts Flashing is when i Hook Maxy Up. Except for the time i Conked out while Listening to Winamp the Music was sounding Good an i was Feeling Good an then Bloop i went out. An some were in the Early Morning Maxy Finally Pooped out too. But i got here on the Charger an she got a Full an Welcomed Charge: An then she Powered Right Up An the we continued Jamming to the Music..
