DROID RAZR MAXX

Having issues receiving text messages (not always from an iphone sender) since last update. They are stuck in download...come thru 15 minutes to hours later. Have been to Verizon and they replaced sim card. Didn't help and doesn't have the problem when they look at it. Now I get a solid blue blinking screen when my phone is just laying by me but not when I try to show it to someone. Help. Loved my 1st Razr. This is Razr Maxx that I got last November. Tried the cache thing but can't get that screen to come up. Any ideas????? THANKS!!!!

I am so sorry to hear you are having issues with messaging. Are you using the factory messaging app on a different application? Have you tried clearing the cache and data on the messaging app? http://vz.to/1lkRYj0

yes, factory messaging and tried the one cashing suggestion with the phone off but i could not get it to work.

Thank you for the details. Were you able to try clearing the cache and data just from the messaging application itself? http://vz.to/1lkRYj0 You can also force stop the application after clearing the cache and data.

Ok, I understand where to go...I use verizon's text message system so I don't know what the app is labeled as. The screen freezing and blinking blue happened not touching any applications but before the phone goes to sleep on its own.
