Defective Sim Card

I purchased my Droid Razr at the Bloomington, IN Sams Club a couple of months ago when they were first released. The counter person tried 3 sim cards while on the phone with tech support before she found one that worked..
A 3 foot drop to my basement floor resulted in a shattered 'gator glass' and necessitated a replacement which was handled promptly and professionally by Asurion. After several attempts, the supplied sim card would not work. I finally installed the card from my shattered phone which has worked fine until today.

Hello JugRoxRiverRat
Wow That's a very upsetting situation! 3 Sim cards is a lot. I'm glad Asurion got you up and running. I can help with your Sim card issue.
Are you getting an error message on the screen? Please remove the Sim and battery leave out for about 15 seconds and power on and retest.
What system version is your device running? To check:
From the main screen, touch menu tab
Touch Settings
Touch About Phone
View Information under System Version
Please let me know if this helps, if not we will troubleshoot further with you.
Thank you

Um, you can't remove the battery in a Droid Razr. Nice try though.
