Delay in Emails

I just recently came back to Verizon- and am using a Razr Maxx HD- I am seeing up to a 45 min delay in getting emails on my phone- while my other phone (IPhone 4 AT&T) is getting the email as soon as they are sent- is anyone else having this problem?

Depending on the email provider you are using, you probably don't have push email available, especially if you are using the included email app. You could try searching the Play Store for your email provider and see if they have their own app, which should be able to do push service.
