I can not turn off my purple flashing notification for the Yahoo App... I have re-installed, rebooted my entire phone, made sure all notifications are off... please help...

I only had that problem with stock yahoo app that came with phone, even after downloading one from play store for android and Verizon said delete stock one and that worked plus check settings to see how you have that set up for visual notifications
Try Light flow as you can disable Led Notifications in that App..
