I downloaded by cable my e-mail contact list to a file labled Contacts on my Droid. However, the Droid only recognizes contacts I had previously entered manually. Please advise the proper procedure for such file transfers
What was the file type you copied over? Did you attempt to import the file into your Contacts app?
Thanks for the file format suggestion. I found a file formatting utility in Windows Live Mail and was able to create a .csv file for transferring to the smartphone.
