Droid Razr Maxx won't play video???

My Razr Maxx won't play videos, whether recieved by text message or INCREDIBLY even video that I take WITH the phone!!?? Have downloaded multiple video players and none of them will work. The files are on the SD card, I can go find them, they're .3pg files, and have a file size, so they're not empty. Anyone have any idea what is going on???

Are you making sure your turning the Video player on why i say that from the home screen you will go to Camera an then you will have to Select the Video Player an you will see a Red round Circle you need to tap it to start your Videos an then Tap it again to stop. then you have to go into you Gallery to see you Videos they will be a box with the play Indicator in the Middle of it...

My camera takes videos as .mp4 files.  I believe you meant to say the file  you are trying to play is .3gp  which is not supported by the Razr (PLAYABLE FORMATS: AAC, H.263, H.264, MP3, MPEG-4, WAV, WMA9, WMA10, eAAC+, AMR NB, AAC+, WMA v9, MIDI ).  That sounds like a Quicktime file.

You can go to Google Play and find a video player that does support .3gp.  I believe Mobo Video Player Pro does.

My Razr has this PNY 32 GB class 10 microSD card.  It's currently $37.62 at Amazon and free shipping if you have a Prime membership.  I take HD videos all the time without any lag in recording or playback. Smiley Happy
