I have had this phone for over a month now and wondered why 3G connections were so spotty.
So I ran into a guy tonite who has the same Droid Razr and he clearly has 3G connection and I do not --- drove home and watched for a 3G indicator to occur on the phone and never got one.
Going to the store for support tomorrow but wondered if anyone else has seen this problem and what they did about it.
I do not live in a 4G coverage area but I am in the NYC / NJ metro area where 3G is supposedly available

Great! Thanks for posting what fixed it.
We think of it as a phone, but it's really a computer and rebooting regularly is a good idea. I make a point of rebooting mine once a day, usually just before I charge it up at night.

Rebooting once is day will not be acceptable to me.
The PC's in my home are only rebooted as nescessary ( Windows updates etc. )
Watching this issue closely and may have VZ tech check the phone ( SIM ) to see all is ok while still under warranty.

Hello spaberlejr,
I'm glad to hear that you are getting 3G service on your Droid Razr. This is one of the hottest devices on the market and I want you to be able to enjoy all of it's features and abilities. Since you purchased a 4G device, I'm sure that you would love to take advantage of the 4G speeds as soon as possible. May I ask what city and state that you live in? Below, I have posted a link to our 4G website so you get see what market currently have 4G LTE service and what markets can expect it in the near future. Also, you can subscribe to 4G alerts as to when 4G will be in your area. Let me know what you think.

I was having the same problem connecting and going on line. I just called 611 and they talked me through a simple setting change and life is wonderful.
