I saw a post asking if the Droid Turbo 2 can be used with an international sim card. My experience is very poor. I have a German sim card (Vodafone) that I've used with an LG G3. About 2 months ago, I replaced the G3 with the Turbo 2. When I use the German sim card, the data is now slow (E or H+ instead of LTE or 4G). I thought that perhaps the sim card had gotten damaged, so I swapped sim card with someone who has a Vodafone sim card in a Samsung phone. They were able to get LTE with my sim card while I got E or H+ with their sim card. Swapping back, the phones had the same speeds (he had LTE and I had E or H+). Prior to that, I contacted Motorola technical support -- they suggested that perhaps the phone is only to be used in America. I chatted with and called Verizon to confirm that the settings were correct and see if there was something else. I went to two Vodafone stores, also to confirm that the settings were correct (and see if there was something else). After the swapping, I called Verizon technical support and was told that it must be a setting by Vodafone (funny that the card works with those settings in other phones). When I mentioned the swap, I was told that meant nothing since the other phone wasn't a Turbo 2 (which they don't sell in Germany). They suggested that I contact Vodafone. I did that several times as well. One observation is that I was sitting down and saw 4G on the phone. About a minute later it was back to H+. Is there a special sim card specification required to get high speed data with the Droid Turbo 2? Thank you

Did you compare the APN between the phones? Check the network mode setting?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
