Does anyone know why when sending email from a hotmail account why no body of the email shows, only the subject and myself as the sender? Gmail works correctly
Mine wouldn't let me complete the setup using the specific Hotmail/Live account. I had to choose the generic email and input my live.com email address and password...that worked and I have text. Maybe give that a go?
Do you have your setting in the email app to only download the headers? You can change to a size of email that you want to download. I usually put mine at the largest text only size, but you csn change to what you are comfortable with.

Try removing the account from the phone and then add it back while verifying the server settings are correct.
I have done that as well, and that didn't work either, still only shows the sende (myself) and a subject, no text in the body
If you open the email then long press where the body text should be and do a 'Select All' do you then see txt?I had a similar issue with a WinMo 6.5 phone, turned out that the color theme I'd applied was making the text white, on a white background
If you are saying to long press on an email I send myself to test it doesn't give me that menu, it only gives me that menu when I'm composing, and yes it shows then, but it always did when I was composing along with the default Verizon signature saying "Sent from my Verizon wireless 4G LTE Phone"
