I just got my new Droid Razr yesterday, and I have tried numerous times to set up my existing Yahoo email account but I keep getting an error message that states "System is unavailable to support the request". My email address and password are correct, I am able to log in just fine on my computer, so I can't figure out what the problem is or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated!

Try the Yahoo email app from the Play Store?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Try this under the settings:
Yahoo Ymail: IMAP
Incoming Settings:
Username: youremail@ymail.com
Password: (check the case for your password)
IMAP server: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 143
Security type: TLS if available
IMAP path prefix: (leave blank, it should read "Optional"
Outgoing Settings:
SMTP server: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com
Port: 25
Security type: TLS if available
Require sign-in: Checked
Username: youremail@ymail.com)
Password: (check the case for your password)
If that does not work, I would use the app available in the Play Store as stated above.

I tried your settings suggestions, and it still didn't work. Downloaded the app and it seems to work pretty well, guess it will have to do. Thanks everyone!

@petitgitan6: Give this a Try Go to your Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications--> Select All then Scroll down to Email Tap to go in Clear you Cache & Data Back out Tap Email Accounts an do the Same Thing. Then Do a Soft Reset Let it Come back on then go in an Re-Try Entering your Email Make sure all you Letters are Lower Case or Enter them as you would on your Computer if it Denyse again try it one more time. I had to this on my Maxx to get it to Go and it's working fine Now..b33

yup rule of thumb is if you use a NON Google email, use the app they have. Like yahoo, america online, hotmail and so on. Glad you got it working.
