I have tried numerous times to update my RAZR and it will still not work. My RAZR is not rooted and has all of the bloatware on it. I have no idea why it will not update and I really do not feel like calling or going to a store for an hour just for them to tell me that they don't know the problem. Any suggestions

When you say Failed Explain!::: Do you mean when you go to About Phone then System Update it is Not Updating or what. If this is the Case it can Take a few Days from when the Update is Re-leased to Move around. You can help your Razr to get it by Turning it Off an then Back on. Once or twice Threw the Day to help try to Push it on it. I have done this with my Phones in the Past to Help push the Update on it. But as i said it may take a Few Days before you get it,,,b33

Ok Try this: Soft Re-set Your Phone: Press Volume Down an Power at the Same time till it shuts off let go of the Buttons let it power back on..an let it fully go threw it's cycle.. once Done try the Install again if Fails Then Call C.S..
Make Sure you have a Fully Charged Battery , You have a good Signal Strength when Taking on the Update.. b33

This worked for me today. My phone had gone for 4 days saying it was downloading the update.... the soft reset caused it to finish downloading and it correctly installed...

If you have tried voiding your warranty by rooting" your phone....and decided to remove and pre-installed apps...then you can no longer update till you figure out how to re-install those apps
