Have you checked the sound settings or the keyboard settings in the phone's main settings area?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Yes, my old droid x had separate keypress volume. this new razr m has Every other volume in the universe it seems....but no way (that I can find-after a couple HOURS of searching) to stop the annoying "CLICK" each key-press. I have de-selected the"touch sounds" & the "Dial pad touch tones" & the thing still clicks???

Have you turned off 'sound on keypress' in the keyboard settings? That option is under Language & input, then the gear (settings) for the keyboards on a Bionic; maybe there's something similar on the Razr M?

p 34 in your manual looks like it does, indeed, have something similar (at least, best I can tell by looking at the manual):

Go to: Settings > Sound and under STSTEM there are two settings "Touch sounds" and "Vibrate on touch" uncheck both and you will get rid of sounds and vibration feedback on key presses.

Wait scottfain! Don't give your phone a bath! I know the clicking can be loud! Are you still having problems? Have you set the master volume to vibrate or silent? This should also control the keypad sounds as well. I use the master volume on my Android smartphone to adjust the keypad volume. The operation should be similar on yours. The toggle switch on the right side of the device.
Sincerely,
