I have the razr maxx and i have 4g bars but i cant call or text i try to send a text and it kicks back and when i try to call its just adead dont even ring. I powered down and still the same thing
Give a Soft Reset a Try And when your Holding in on the Lower Volume and Power button Hold them in for at Least 20 Sec. before you Let Go then Let the Phone Re-power on it's own Wen it's been on for a Few min, Check the to see if issue is Gone.. b33
The Razr Maxx is a great device chevydee! Let's get it working again! The suggestion from B33 is a great place to start. It's a simple reset of your phone that won't effect any information saved in the device. You can also try resetting your SIM http://bit.ly/AwpDvc to help with your service. If you continue to have trouble, what's your zipcode? When the text "kicks back", are you getting any error message? When you place the call, does the call timer start going and there's just no one on the line or is the call failing to dial completely?
