How can I restore contact information to a previous point? While editing "notes" in a contact, I lost all previously entered information for that contact.

On my Droid Maxx I was editing "notes" in one of the contacts. While editing, I lost all previously entered information. How can I restore the notes information to a point before the information was lost? I have "Back up assistant plus"and "Google cloud"on the phone.
