Settings > Security and Screen Lock > Screen Lock > confirm current PIN, then choose whatever you want, whether Pattern to unlock, Face Unlock, No Lock, etc.
How do I unlock the phone when daughter locked it with no pin set?

Ha! I would have done that, but she's only a year old. However, I finally was able to get a manual online and read through it. It is now fixed. Thanks for your time.
