How to download ringtones to my phone?

When I bought the phone a couple of days ago the rep downloaded Verizon ringtones but I didn't see how he did it. I'm not interested in Verizon ringtones. I want something like the ring of an antique phone.

Can anyone answer this easy question. Of course it's only easy if you know the answer...

Is this a Smartphone or basic phone?

I'm guessing the phone in question is a DROID Razr since it was posted in that spac.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I must be really tired today... Blah. Since you have  a smartphone, the best app I use for ringtones simple as "antique" ringtone, should be Zedge. There are plenty of different ones on there, I'm sure you can find one that tickles your fancy Smiley Happy

I brought up this question on google and there were a bunch of listings.

Zedge was one of them and I did bring that up. It had exactly what I

wanted... I'm not sure how to download the ringtone I want to my phone though.

I've only had this phone since Monday so I'm very new with it...

With Zedge, you click what you want , and the download area is the "down" arrow

A related question. I also am new with my RAZR M and I'm trying to use a song for an ALARM notification.

I have downloaded the song to my phone thru MP3 app, but can't seem to add it to the Alarm sound choices.

Thanks. I finally figured it out. Altho I already had the songs downloaded to my phone in the MP3 app, I didn't see how to get them on the alarm. But when you Edit something in the MP3 app, then you save it to either music, ringtones, alarms, or notifications.

Thanks to both who sent that link for giving me hints that it was possible.

Solved.
