I can't delete files from my SD card

I receive a pop up on my Razr saying my SD card memory is almost full. I removed my SD card from my phone and put it into my PC and tried to delete files and it won't let me. I was able to copy files over to my PC but they're still on my SD card. Is there any way to delete them without having to delete one at a time from my phone?

use the included usb cable, select mass memory & you should be able to see the sd card as an additional drive in windows explorer or my computer.

right click, edit/select all, delete.

What message do you get when you try to delete them?
