Well i finally went and Updated my First Razr Maxx to ICS yes i waited a Bit to Do it) but with the Jelly Bean Coming or came Out for a Lucky few till someone at Moto Pulled it.. I wanted to get both of my Maxx's Squared away for it so i Updated my First Maxx and all was doing OK till i noticed that i don't have any sound for my Keyboard when sending a Email or Text and i also don't have and Key sound for my Dialer which is Nice to have from time to time. So i tried a Soft Reset no that Didn't Work then i Tried a Clearing of the System Cache that didn't work either and i'm the one that tries to give a Suggestion
but i'm stumped i guess i could clear all of my Apps or do the thing that ones have to Do Factory Reset Ugg.! so if any one can think of a Suggestion i would Appreciate it till then i will see what Grey hairs i can pull out of my head
i'm getting old but not old Ha.! Thanks Again b33

Since you have two Maxx's, I assume you have gone down the settings and they are identical. That only leaves a Factory Reset. But on the other hand, as you know, after a Reset everything is pristine....faster....better.....and ready for JB. Have a nice day.

I don't have ICS but if I recall it's similar to JB. Try this.
Dialer > Menu > Dial Pad Touch Tones
Settings > Language and input > Select the keyboard that you are using (gear?) > Sound on keypress (Or Advanced > Typing & haptic feedback for Swiftkey Flow).

Try opening dialer - Menu - Call Settings - Ringtones and Keypad tones and make sure Keytones is checked.

Its not surprising because I have a Samsung, they usually dont use the same menus.... It would be nice if all devices use the same menu layout..
Hope you find the correct setting before resetting.

Ginger's just mad that you've taken this long to update her.
For the dialer sound ... have you gone to system settings > sound, then checked Dial Pad Touch Tones?
For the keyboard sound ... as breezex said, have you gone to system settings > language & input > tap the gear to the right of Motorola input, then checked sound on keypress? Then you'll also have to set the Motorola keyboard as your default keyboard, i.e., language & input, press Default, choose English/Motorola Input.

I hate noisy keyboards and want them all silent, myself, BUT ... if you insist on having sound when you press your keyboard (), then double-check your settings based on that post I left a while ago.

Don't be so anxious to get Jelly Bean. It has more bugs in it than a New York Hotel's bed has bed bugs. I am speaking from experience. I also have a Razr M which I got with JB already installed. Having more problems with it than any other smartphone I've ever had, and reading various threads, the problems are caused by the OS (Jelly Bean) not by the Razr M itself. Maybe this is why Motorola pulled it, to work on it to get it to work correctly.

Isn't it an old story, B33? People were crying for GB. When it finally came out, complaint after complaint. Then they yelled for ICS. Okay, it came out...complaint after complaint. Now they are screaming for JB, and believe me, as it stands now, they will hate it. It has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. I have no problem with ICS on my Razr Maxx. But problem after problem with my Razr M using JB as its OS. Some of the problems I could use work-arounds, like a 3rd party Email collector to synch my Emails. Can't use the regular Email collector, can't synch. That's my biggest gripe. Anyway, let's cry for the next OS. What will it be? Key Lime Pie?
