Once I downloaded ice cream sandwich at the recommendation of Verizon my bluetooth will pair with my car but the contacts list will not transfer over. I can receive calls and make calls (but only by "dialing") from my phone. I had no issues before the update. Verizon tech support has been useless, Motorola says they know of the problem and are working on a fix but no idea when that will happen. I have tried every possible solution including downloading third party apps, nothing works. I have a BMW and they tell me that they have no updates for the car. I have read too many issues regarding this so I do not believe it is the car but a bug in the software. Anyone have any sugggestions? I have managed to contact someone in Corporate HQ's and that was to no avail. And of course we cannot go back to an earlier version of the software.

Looks to me like you answered your own question....."Motorola knows of the problem and are working on a fix". Hopefully when it comes out, your problem will be resolved.
There's some traffic in the BMW forums about Firmware upgrades that apparently solve the issue. It's worth a looksee.
