So I was one of the people who got the 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update on christmas eve. Well ever since then my phone has been dying rather fast a lost faster then it use to and it's became slow! It's not fast like it use to be. I loved my phone until I got this unfinished Jelly Bean software, sometimes it takes 30 seconds or longer for the system menu to come up for instance i was on the home screen i pushed the menu button to go in the sounds menu I literly waited 36 seconds for the main menu screen to pop up so I could even click on the sounds option. Also on the Ice Cream Sandwhich there was a power option called Sleep mode that I used every night well it's no longer there now. This Update has completely made me hate my phone and I use to love it. I've called tech support and also went into the store and all I'm told is SORRY YOU"LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL RELEASE TO COME OUT AND THEN "MAYBE" IT WILL CORRECT THE PROBLEMS! Mean while I'm just suppose to deal with it and carry a charger with me every where I go cuz my battery is dead with in 2 hours and that's with me listening to music and checking my facebook a couple of times.

Do you have Google Now turned on? Do you use Google backup and restore? Those two are huge battery drainers. Turn them off and see if your battery improves.

Nope I don't use the Google now, and all my sync and backup apps are off I'll turn my google backup on maybe once a week and do a manual back up. but other then that the only Sync app that runs all the time is face book and it's set to sync every hour. My phone is setup exactly as it was before the OS update,.

Can you take a screen shot of your battery stats? Is media server near the top?

You take a screen shot by Holding down the Lower Volume and the Power at the same time for a second or Two just as it take the shot let off the buttons or the phone will power off). Once the shot is taken you can find it in the pull down bar tap on it and you can then send the shot to your Google Account or other Sites i send mine to Gmail.. from there open the message that's on the Gmail site in your messages save the photo then you can right click on the photo to copy it from there you can save it to your computer then when write a post put your mouse pointer on the Insert Image an you can then show your Screen shot

The store did one. But my battery use to last almost every day and that was with me making calls and texting, plus my phone was super fast, But ever since the JB downloaded to my phone is when all these issues started litterley the next day..I asked them to put Ice Cream back on it untill the official JB is released and they told me they couldn't I was stuck with JB and would have to wait for the official release and hope that the bugs are worked out of it.

sounds like your device isn't "sleeping" when it should.

Was this an Over the Air Update (came from Verizon automatically), or did you do it?

Ya it was an Automatic OTA update I usually click the check for update option every day. That day it happened to say there was an update available and asked if I wanted to download it or not. So of course thinking it was a goo update I chose YES, and wish I never would have now.

Ya I don't do anything to them until the warranty expires Once the warranty expires then I don't care because I have to pay to have it fix or replaced any ways.

It maybe the official release but theres a reason Google, Motorola or Verizon haven't sent t it out to the phones yet. There either to many bugs in it or compatabilies issues, theres some reason their holding it for so long before sending it out.
