Kit Kat Update Droid Razr M

Ever since the update, I can no longer participate in group message nor do I RECEIVE most of my text messages. When I do, it's anywhere from 8-12 hours later. I have done a soft reset 3 times, clicked on settings to receive group messages and saved but it still isn't working. What is the problem and how can it be rectified? It is imperative I am able to receive my texts.

Have you tried a Factory Reset? You usually need to do that after a OS upgrade.

I have not done a factory reset and hope I don't have to. The last two updates on other Droid phones in our family did NOT require a factory reset nor were there major issues like this.

An update should only improve your device tscales1. I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties. What messaging app is this? Is your individual messaging still functioning the same?

Would appreciate knowing if there is a fix for this. Same issue, my phone notifies me there is a message and it finally shows up 8-12 hours later. Only seems to affect picture and group messages though.

I want to get these messages flowing! Are you using a 3rd party app for messaging? Is Wifi on? If so, please power off Wifi and retest. Please start by erasing all old messages. Are you able to send a picture?

I'm sure we can get to the bottom of this!
