Latest Update Causes Connectivity Problems

For 2 months my RAZR Maxx had a solid 4G connection. On 4/27, the latest update was installed. After installation, it booted with a 1X connection. I powered off and rebooted. It came up with a 4G connection. After a few minutes, it switched to 3G. Then it switched to 1X. And then finally, no connection. Then it went back to 4G. Then the cycle started again. It sometimes skips a step and the interval time varies; but, it constantly switches. Verizon and Motorola say that they can't roll back an update. (I think that means that they won't. Can't implies that they have no software configuration management.)

If anyone else is having this problem, please let me know and contact Verizon.

I got the update about two weeks ago and everything was fine.... but as of this afternoon, I have no date connection, no 4g or 3g.  I'll be going into Verizon tomorrow.

Yesterday morning I saw that my phone had no internet connectivity and as this has happened before I figured it would fix itself by the end of the day. However, it IS the next morning and still has no internet connectivity what-so-ever. I can send and receive texts just fine but I cannot receive or send picture messages. This is so frustrating.

I am having the exact same issue right now. Went from 20+ mbps to 0.3 mbps while displaying 4 bars of 4g LTE... we need a fix--- FAST!!!

I am experiencing the same issues.  All of a sudden, my 3g goes away. Then it comes back, then goes away again. Before this update, I had no issues...

I have been loosing my data connection ever since I got the update for my Razr Maxx on Saturday April 28th.  I called support and they had me remove the sim card and put it back in.  That didn't help.  They told me that the next thing to do would be a factory reset.  I did that last night and I'm sitll having the same problem.  The data connection worked fine since I got the phone a few months ago until the day I got the update.  I'm see symptoms similar to what others are reporting.  It seems to happen less when I'm at work.  This is driving me crazy.  I'm going to call support again on my lunch our.

Jim it Could be there Working on the Towers in your Area when you call in request a Tower info Update for your Area see if there doing any Maintenance on them or it Just may be U need a new Sim Card if So one can be Sent you Free.. if yours is Bad.. b33
