Lucky Me!!!

Once again for whatever reason, certain of my apps icons turned blue with a gear in the middle of them. this used to happen when i had my htc incredible, why it's still happening is a mystery to me. the way i found out was that i received a message, turned on the phone and voila!!! they were blue...again!!!

Do you move these apps to SDcard?

I had the same thing happen to my phone. I had an app that caused the apps to look like that. Once i uninstalled it, apps were fine after that. You have to try to uninstall some of your apps one at a time to find out.

That icon means that the operating system cannot locate the program. If you have moved any apps to your external SD that may be the cause.

u may all be right regarding your answers and i will look into what u have all written and i thank u for your time :smileyhappy: i should have explained myself better (: the phone was fine for the 1st few days i have had it, with no changing icons/apps. i then plugged it in to charge it and when i turned it back on, then the icons/apps changed appearance. why did it take 3/4 days for this to occur and it occured while the phone was being charged/ not used!!! the system found the icons/apps well enough for that period of time. is it in anyway related to the phone being charged or does this magically occur after a certain period of time???
