MY VERIZON APP LOCKING UP RAZR MAXX

When i tried to Go into the My Verizon App it wanted to Lock up on my Razr Max i tried both ways using Wi-Fi an the thru the Network i tried Logging in with my Username an Password that works fine on my Droid X an my Computer but why it's Denying my Max is beyond me i Uninstalled it Twice an done Soft Resets with the Max with No Results an as said i can Log in fine with My Verizon on my Droid X an doing it with my Computer An i am NOT willing to Change my User Name an Password as it works fine an is not the Cause of this Malfunction with this App! This needs to be taken Care of Rather Quickly B33

Make sure in Menu>Settings>Data Manager that Data Enabled is checked.
Try going to Manage Apps and clearing cache & data.
Try doing this in Safe Mode.
If none of this works, I'm afraid you might have to back up your data and call Verizon. A Factory Reset might be the next step.

Sally on my Maxx it was unchecked did the app work for you after you Updated it. As i posted i tried those things an unless something is clashing witch there could be any more if two or three apps don't play nice this can be the result an i thought about F.R. after doing the update. An still may have to but i will check that first an let you know the results. P.S. a poster in the G. P. S said she had to call C.S. an talk to a Tear 2 to resolve her issue they reset her Username & Password an after that it worked on her Razr. but i wasn't wanting to go thru all of that Malarkey as the those two my U & P are working on my X an thru my Computer..

Data Enabled needs to be checked.

Done the deeds i checked Data Enable done Safe mode Tried Logging in an No Go i Guess we call C.S. an get to Talk to a Tear 2 today a lovely way to start the Morning sorry but my only words to this is I. B. D. there's no other way to put it.. wish me Luck un less some body else has an answer that will fixit

Yeah, good luck. I still can't log into this forum using my phone which takes me to the mobile version of the site for login (https://vzwsupport.jive-mobile.com/#jive-login) Doesn't work on my computer or my phone - Incorrect username or password. If I go to the non-mobile version of the site on my phone (https://community.verizonwireless.com/community/droid/droid-razr/login.jspa ) I can log in fine. Same username and password. I've talked to CS up the wazoo. All very nice folks. All verify it's not my phone. One tech told me he can't log into the mobile site either! Nobody able to fix it, everyone saying they will escalate it. I figure the jive-mobile.com has something wrong with their authentication server - it doesn't like me. But what can you do? I just stay off the forum unless I'm on my pc.

Ann I talked to a few techs on this subject and Verizon techs are working on site bugs already reported but they haven't got to this one yet but they are working on resolving this..
This is a global issue with the mobile site because of the bug that its attempting to log into MyVerizon instead of the Community logon..

Thanks, Wildman. Nice to know it's a bigger issues, even though I know that's not so nice for everyone else. The CS people I've talked to have been very nice in verifying it's not me or my phone. But they don't really work on the tech end of web site development so there's not much they can do.

Sally an Friends on the Post i got things all patched up by the Help from a Nice lady Named Amanda in C.S. An the Root cause of the phone not wanting to log in or getting acceptance was fluke in our U.& P. an she said it can happen an has before with Others an just by signing in with a new U & P it cleared it an did it Quickly. She also told me that one of our lines was Primary line an it was until now the only one that we could view our Bill an Change Features but Now Both lines now have this Capability. Thanks for looking into this situation on your End. An it is nice to get it finally Fixed. Again Thanks to you All B33

Anyone at Verizon who wants to work on this can try using SallyC and the links I mentioned above to see if they can get it to work. They don't really need me - if they get it to work they can send me a new password if needed.
