Mobile Spyware

Is there a way to check and see if a spyware app has been uploaded to a Droid Razr (without doing a factory reset?)  If a factory reset is done, does that eliminate any and all spyware software/apps?  (Specifically, the mobile-spyware stuff....think I'm being stalked).

I doubt if there is a way to find spyware easily unless you know what you are looking for.  Why do you think that your phone has spyware installed?  A better bet is that someone knows your location because your phone is reporting it to Google, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and any number of other social apps.  You will have to turn off reporting your location in Settings > Location services and in all the social apps that you have permitted to know your location if you do not want your location to be public.

Added 1/31/13:  Also you may want to check for other apps that enable location and tracking.  Search Google Play for words like location, friend finder, track phone, etc. and see if you have any of those apps on your phone.
