Mt Razr Maxx will not connect to my wireless router

I am using a D-Link DIR 685. For some reason my Razr will not connect to it as long as I have any type of encryption on

if I turn the encryption off, it connects

With the encryption on, all my other wireless devices connect, Roku, TV, DVD player etc

The phone shows great signal until I try to connect then it drops to nothing

I am positive of the password, I changed it twice

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks to you both but I got it to work

I don't know if this was the real fix but this is what I did

I was using a 10 character pass phrase when it would not connect

For ease of trying to connect, I changed it to an 8 character phrase and it connected right away.

My new Asus TF700T was doing the exact thing and it also immediately connected.

Not sure if that is it but it works now

Thank you for trying to help me out

I have a DIR-685 and is encrypted.  It connects with both phones, printer and computers flawlessly.  If you have rebooted it (leave it off for a minute before you restart it), then I would totally reset it from scratch.  Hope this helps.

No issues.  I have a DIR-655 (I know not the same model) set up with WPA encryption.  Do you have MAC address filtering/authentication turned on?
