I went from an Iphone to the Maxx today and now I cannot receive text. The worst part is when someone sends me a reply it goes to my wives iphone. Her number is no where on their phone.

Was the person replying from an iphone? Does your wife have an iphone? Are you using the same Apple ID? It might be possible the other person is responding via your Apple ID.

The person that was replying was on an Iphone but not with Verizon. This is the only person this happens with, all other text messages regardless of the phone does not go to her phone. I have not tested with anyone else to see if they can reply and me see it with my new phone.
This is an Apple, iPhone, iMessage, @me.com problem. Apple keeps track of iPhone users past and present unless you take steps to remove yourself. See:
