I assume this is the correct forum for the Razr Maxx? I assumed I'd see a separate forum.

The Maxx is basically a razr with an extended battery. Everything as far as software and hardware its the same.
The HD Dock and the GPS Mount for the car that I was sold with my Maxx, do not fit, well at all.. I'll be taking everything back to the store on Saturday, and asking them to show me just how my Maxx is supposed to fit these two devices... with or without the cases....
Keep us posted please. I would like to find this out.
It's because you got the wrong One or the place that sold it to ya give you the wrong one! The One for the Razr fits the Razr Only an when you pull the Adapter on it will allow for a Case that can be put on the Razr.!! The Dock for the Maxx is maid for it Specifically And it will Say Razr Maxx on the Box that it Comes in! Like the Picture below See! b33
As for a Seperate Forum i ask for one Back when i Got my Maxx But had to Live with What we got it's ok i guess seeing that both Units are the Same except for the Battery b33
That would explain why it doesn’t fit…you would think I would have been given the correct one by the Verizon Sales rep.. J
My HD Dock box doesn’t say MAXX on it either… do I sense a pattern here?
Yes i Understand sometimes there head is some wear else. When i go into the Store i pretty much now what i'm looking for why is that! i Research the Stuff on the Web but when i really want to know i just try to find that specific item at the Store and i will Open the Box an test it make sure it Works..
As for the HD Dock as long as you have the Docking Plate that says For Droid Razr Maxx your Ok it will have a Red Sticker with those words printed on it and a Hole Cut in the Plate.. I have pictures that i have taken and are on here with my HD Station..
I have both the HD Dock an the HD Station for my Maxx
One thing i wanted to add Stephen: There should be a Sticker on the Box at the Top that should say also fits Razr Maxx if it doesn't or you don't have the Plate Don't try to put your Maxx in the Dock Because it won't be able to align itself Correctly with the Pins an you can Damage your Maxx Same thing with the Car Dock Don't Force it in there An on the Car Dock the Arm that Mounts up with Slides out you put the Maxx in the Dock an slide the Arm into the Maxx.
I want to mention also the Car Dock for the Maxx at the Verizon stores is $59.99 And all you get with this Kit is the Dock an it's parts an a Jack Cord. When i was Doing some searching after i got mine at Verizon i found that Amazon is Selling the Same Motorola Razr Maxx Car Dock But with a Charging Adapter an Additional Cord for the Same Price when i seen that i about Fell out of my Office Chair..
