No sound on power up

My Droid Razr doesn't have any sound when I power it up (the start up screen) ,is this normal? Can it be fixed? thank you

If you listen Really Closely you can Here but the sound Volume on it can't be Adjusted.. Wildman said a few post ago why the Reason it's not Loud but i can't remember just what or why that was for...b33

I am unclear... Are you wanting the startup sound because I have seen more users wanting to disable it more than anything?  The start up sound is usually controlled by the notification volume on the device, try checking Settings / Sound / Volume and increase Notification and maybe Media volume and see if this gives you the volume you want..

Wildman i think he was referring to when you power up the Razr an in the Boot Sequence you can here the sound but it's at a Low Level this Video i found is allot Louder.. By Far..  Here is the Link to it Enjoy b33 Smiley Happy

Yes B33 ,I'am referring to the sound when you power up your Razr ,like you said a few posts ago if you listen closely you can hear it but you cannot make it louder ,I was wondering if it is supposed to be like that?My nephew has one and he say he can hear it loud and clear . thanks for the link by the way!

Well you can turn on SD notification an Get some Sound but not were an when you want it ! Lol b33

The low volume when powering on your Droid Razr is normal. The volume level is stored in a system file that is not accessible during the initial bootup stage of the device. This is why you experience the low sound when powering on your device.

Thanks for the response.I'm glad it's normal and I don't have to deal with gettting it repaired,especially since it's brand new!
