Now that SoftCard is obsolete, will there be a software update that uninstalls the app?

It's just taking up memory that could be used for other things, such as apps that actually work.

I understand wanting to have the most possible memory on your device. As of currently there is no information regarding any new updates to remove the Softcard application. You can keep up to date here... http://vz.to/1AKgGeE

I know, I have google wallet. I asked if there will be an upgrade to get

rid of the SoftCard app since its not able to be uninstalled by the user.

Its just taking up space now for no reason. You can't even open the app.
