Outgoing email won't send.

Outgoing email won't send. Incoming fine. Settings same as on computer... smtp.verizon.net, Port 465, SSL. Also can't delete the messages in the Outgoing folder. Get "Cannot open message - Message is currently being sent and is unable to be opened.". Have a Motorola Razr M.

I've had emails get "stuck" in my outbox on the phone - try restarting the phone and see if that jogs it into sending. If that doesn't work, delete the account from your phone and recreate it.
