Both my children have the same phone Moto Z2 Force. Whenever they get a call the phone will either not ring or ring but not display anything so you cannot answer the call. I have done a factory reset and the issue still persists.
We know you mentioned preforming a Factory Data Reset, do you happen to know when the issue started? When did you get the phones? Has there been any recent changes on the device such as updates?

There have been updates even one yesterday and the issue still persists.
The issue head been going on a couple of months apparently but I was only
recently told because you know teenagers. After I did a factory reset I
purposedly did not update any of the apps and their phones would still not
ring.
