Question about battery-saving apps

What is the best app for helping you save your battery? I have tried easy battery saver and juice defender, but I'm still not sure. I would like help saving battery power, but I also want my phone to respond quickly when I want to use certain features. After all, what's the point of having a smart phone if you can't do anything with it? Thank you for your help.

nothing will truly save your battery

many of them actually use more due to running all the time

let android manage the battery

+1 on staying away from batt saver apps.

if you have a lot of apps that are continually updating, see if you can do without a few & still get by.
