Has this happened to anyone else? My Razr Maxx HD's entire screen went purple as a call came in. I was able to answer it because the purple was semi-transparent and i could see the unlock icon beneath it. I answered the call (screen was still purple) but by the time the call ended the purple screen went away.
It should could Ok it probably was an anomaly from the phone just keep your eye on it if it Happens again i'd call customer service b33
This is happening to me too. I've had mine about 2 weeks. First time was day 3. Now it is happening more frequently, esp. with alarms, notifications, etc. It is definitely a problem - seeing more conversation about this in other communities.
It was happening more and more with different things seemingly causing it. Verizon had me return it to the store and they gave me a new one since it was within the initial 2-week period of getting the phone. It hasn't happened yet with the new one.
I am going to Verizon tomorrow. I don't want this problem! Thanks for sharing ...your experience helped me decide what to do.

Yes I am seeing seething very similar. Mine does not have any yellow it green hours. Only purple.

Did it Go away with a Soft Reset! L.I.S. there is a Chance what your seeing is a Purple To Blue Tint when the Screen Times out or the Phone is Off) That purple Tint that your seeing is Ok My Maxx has that same purple to Blue Tint it's in the Screen and what give your Colors there Contrast.. But if screen is on and it's giving off a Purple Color you might as i pointed out in my Suggestion try a Soft Reset. Hold the Bottom Volume in and the Power at the Same time till the Phone Goes off it will re-power Let it get through it's Checks and things and See what it Does.. Let me know if it Changes or Not..
