Have a new CRV with Nav and system should be able to take texts messages when phone connected. However, does not happen and Honda folks say it is a phone issue with . Something about MAP in bluetooth ???? Anyone familiar with this issue?
These days, every car has bluetooth. What they don't have is a standard BT and they all blame everyone else. My new chevy and my four yr old Pontiac both work fine with my Razr and so does my 2 yr old Voyager Pro headset. Some people have had success with updating the firmware in their car. I never had to do that but I hear it's pretty simple. Download the update to a thumb drive and plug the drive into the car. Instructions vary by manufacturer.
