So my Razr just installed the phone update and now is stuck on the " The SIM card was recently removed, sign into your account to verify identity " Whenn I put in the password it tells me it tells me " Your username or password is incorrect. Please check them and try again. " I know I am using the correct passwords as I've logged into the accounts on my computer. Any ideas ?

It is a glitch, the phone is asking for your motoblur account

Since most people don't have one, the only way I know if is a master reset. Its all over moto's website

I have the same problem.     Why is it still happening?    I googled this issue and it's been going on since 2010??     I've had my Razr Maxx for 1 week, on my 2nd sim card (due to the SIM unauthorised bug), now this 'sim has been removed' error has made my phone unusable.      I don't want to do factory reboot everytime.    Regretting upgrading to this phone.

ok I just manually did the 6.12.181.XT912 update and it seems to have fixed the 'sim card removed' issue - the verify email screen has gone away and I connect to the 4G network.     Shouldn't these updates happen automatically?     How can I make system updates automatic?     To find out about this update, I had to  look up this issue, check the version on my phone, and realize from posts here there is a new update and manually do it.    Doesn't Verizon notify people?    Only had my phone a week so not sure how this system should work.
